Word Streak With Friends: Paid App Reviews

The game runs fast and smooth on my iPhone 6. I love the regular head-to-head game play and love to play the 8-player bracket tournaments even more. Recommended for all Boggle® lovers especially.

One complaint is that the same letter boards come up quite often. I wish there were more boards with new letters. Love the Daily Challenges but wish there were more hidden word theme games, instead of the same old highlighted tiles. The Daily Challenges are difficult to open. Creating a new game takes forever. The biggest problem is how slow it is to move between games. For a game that requires speed, it is frustrating to wait and wait and wait while it "sends" and to get into the Daily Challenge. I have an iPhone 6+ so I dont think its my phone.

The "match of the day" stinks. I dont want to see some stranger in my play list. Give an opt out please. Also constant ads in a paid game are frowned upon.

The game is terrific, quick and fun to play. The app needs a little work. When a game is completed sometimes it doesnt let you start another game with the opponent you just played. All in all I am addicted to playing it and I have great fun so I have little to complain about!

The programmers have the basis for an excellent game, but . . . As one person pointed out the game is programmed in favored of any players who purchases tokens (or if you will players who buy victories). I have two other players who I play. We agree on the "tools" for the game and comment on the words that are found. Absent the agreement, the game may be had for the payment of money. Also, there is an admitted problem with the game. The company states that it will be fixed "shortly". Their definition of shortly is different from mine. Finally, the programmers are a lazy group. They built into the program the feature that allows a player to add a word. A word is denied and the player may choose to add the word. The player is asked to specify which word and to use the word in a sentence. The player then in 100% of the time is forced to play without the submitted word. Additionally, the player will NOT receive any notification of any kind. A player can quote and cite other dictionaries, but that player will not receive any notice of any kind. A player can locate and provide a quote from literature using the submitted term, but the player will NOT receive any notice. This is a word based game, but the programmers seem immune to any rational inclusion. This is a good game that could be great, but management and possibly ownership are currently an impenetrable brick wall in the way of greatness. Reference to thick as a brick.

I love this game and addicted to it too, but...when I lose and have to start a new match, it takes like 3 minutes for the new match to come up. Also, a lot of times it wont allow me to "rematch", it just says "done", it freezes a lot too

Im not that good and played the coach for a long time. Now, I enjoy playing humans and win some and lose some. The daily challenge is something I look forward to, you have the chance to look at the board after playing the first round and you get to try again.

I lose all the time to those who buy more power ups. Therefore I dont like the tournament games. Its discouraging.

How? Make it public which (and how many) power ups are used. And the annoying end of the three rounds is dreadful. You have to sit through the scores being slowly revealed. Without even showing the scores from the 3 rounds.

A great game, but I wish they would show what (or at least how many) power ups your opponent used

Its very addictive. I play off and on a daily basis. I have been playing since 2012 and I love it!

I love every thing about this game except the opponents that are chosen are usually much better than me when I choose smart match mode.I would love just one time to beat the pants off someone!

This game is great - I love that they added solo play for playing when there isnt a game against a friend available

Has hiccups in game. Very irritating.

There are many opportunities to make words. I like the variety of daily challenges as well. I wish the game would let me know which tokens my opponent is using so I can decide if I want to use the same ones or try to best my opponent without tokens. Without knowing, the game can be unfair. I dont want to play against an opponent using a token he/she isnt using.

Still lose sound if message opponent. Have to close game and anything else that is open on iPhone 6 to regain sound function. I dont like the way you guys hook up players. I want Random players. RANDOM. Point awards are so low as to be a waste of time. Weighted against people who dont buy more power ups. If I didnt want to win, I could just use the single player option. Obviously, I like the game and am a little invested.

Nothing more fun than the challenges. Need to make those daily though instead of weekly.

My favorite game, win or lose. I just wish we had more time each round. Why not just offer an extra minute for everyone? Its fun to find as many words as possible without time pressure. Can you make that an option?
